The Long Run for Prostate Cancer

In the Month of September The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia hosts a fundraising event where participants are challenged to run, walk, jog or wheel 72km over the month to help raise awareness and support for all the men and families impacted by prostate cancer. Over 16,000 Australian men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year and these numbers are expected to increase by 60% in the future.

In September of 2020 Penny Wolff accepted the challenge and ran 72km in and out of the gym to help bring awareness to prostate cancer and how it can affect the lives of Australian men. In the process Penny and the team she fundraised with, raised significant funds for the foundation.

Together, every kilometre they ran helped raise funds to bring us closer to a world where prostate cancer is no longer a burden and where all men and their families with a diagnosis are supported.
