El Salvador Kilimanjaro | Sumalvador
Termed as “Sumatra-washed of the El Salvador beans”, the cherries from the Kilimanjaro farm are processed using wet-hulled (aka “giling basah”) process, which is very common and traditional processing method for coffee in Sumatra, Indonesia. The cherries are processed as per washed processed and the beans hulled at 50% moisture content rather than 11% in standard washed process, giving the beans the dark blue/green colour.
