Guima Estate, Brazil
Located between 950 - 1200 metres above sea level is a region known for its award winning coffee.
The award-winning Guima Estate comprises three neighbouring farms in the Cerrado Mineiro region of South East Brazil. This area has the largest continued remnant of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest – now a UNESCO Reserve, so Guima has been built on a foundation of environmental responsibility. Investing in the complete traceability of their coffee, nearly half of their 1,500 hectares is dedicated to the preservation of native flora and fauna.
UTZ and Rainforest Alliance certified, Guima is managed entirely by women under the leadership of COO Mariana Caetano Polcaro. Coffee from Guima Estate displays soft acidity, high sweetness and strong body.
